More Meetings of the UWP
Story By
Clinton Reynolds

Top brass of the United Workers Party were meeting again Wednesday, to try to decide the future of the party and the government. Reports are that some elected members are putting enormous pressure on the Prime Minister for a major shake-up in his Cabinet. At the center of the discussion is how Bousquet will be readmitted into Cabinet and whether Ausbert D’Auvergne will be fired.
All the officials with whom we spoke appeared to be singing from the same hymn book including Party Chairman – Karl Daniel. They says all decisions are in the hands of Stephenson King. |
Bousquet confirmed that the Prime Minister was given a timeframe to act on the recommendations made at the series of meetings, but he would not discuss that timeline in much detail. Prime Minister – Stephenson King remained mum on the discussions throughout the day. He is due to leave the island shortly. When we caught up with him, he refused to give a comment.
